An Introvert's Outlook

Striving to be Wise

About this blog: I’m starting this blog to share some of the many thoughts I have about the world around me; I’ll address a wide range of topics. It seems that in today’s day and age, introverts are often marginalized by those with more dominant, outgoing personalities, but we shouldn’t mistake our pensiveness for inferiority! As a shy person who often feels small and unheard, I thought a blog might be a good place for me to begin voicing my reflections. Though I’m sure my posts will not appeal to everyone, I hope you find at least a few things that spark your interest and cause you to look at the world from a new angle!

About Me: I’m a nineteen-year-old college student, majoring in English with the dream of becoming a teacher. For now, this blog is anonymous. Reading and writing have been my number one passions since I became literate, and the Harry Potter series will forever be the most precious thing in my heart. My other love is country music—I grew up with it, and it never fails to amaze me with it soulfulness. I also believe in God; I am not extremely religious but I live with the purpose of fulfilling His wishes and being the most true, holy person I can be. I’ve forever struggled with extreme social issues and anxieties and probably depression, but I’m working through them the best I can. I aspire to be wise someday, and I strive to rid myself of as much ignorance as I can.

“The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don’t know.”

PS-I am very new to blogging. I’m still trying to get a handle on the whole thing, and so advice, help, and suggestions would all be very much appreciated! Feel free to give feedback, please.
